dc.description.abstractBioactive system for reducing nitrate content in brick and limestone was developed using mineral poultice and aerobic denitrifier Pseudomonas stutzeri cells. The efficiency of the systems with P. stutzeri D1 was considerably higher compared with the reference strain for the both examined materials. After 9 days of application of the bioactive systems, the biocleaning efficiency was approximately 70% for both strains on the brick surface, while the efficiency in the depth was 72% and 95% using the reference strain and natural isolate, respectively. Artificial neural network efficiency prediction showed good prediction according to material layer depth, time, and bacteria type.en
